Below is provided a list of important historical documents related to the rise and progress of the original Shepherd’s Rod message since its inception in 1930. We will break down the listings under subheadings based on specific time periods or content/topic. In some cases content may be grouped together based on its source of origin rather than time frame or topic. There is a considerable amount of content that will be uploaded to this page over the next several months commencing January 2023 so please bookmark for your records and revisit on a regular basis. Many highly significant documents will be released which have never been available for review on the internet prior to this time, so please consider making a donation to support this important project (you can contact us directly at upa5453@gmail.com for more details).
Dudley Goff Materials
In April 2020 a significant interview appeared on YouTube between Dudley Goff, a former Davidian Bible worker under Brother Houteff and Florence Houteff and two individuals who had direct involvement with the infamous 1993 Branch Davidian standoff with the United States government, Philip Arnold (Director, Reunion Institute, Houston, TX) and James D. Tabor a retired professor of Religion at North Carolina State University, Charlotte. During this interview Dudley talked about his past experiences with the Rod message and his favorable interactions with the Houteff’s leading up to his renouncement of the message in 1962 at which time he became involved with other religious pursuits. His role as a Bible worker in the hunting campaign that was initiated by Brother Houteff in 1953 is significant. The hunters typically traveled in pairs to visit Adventist homes across the country who had been receiving Rod tract literature over the years prior to 1953. Their primary aim was to follow up and determine what interest these Adventists may have in the message and to address any questions with the appropriate studies and/or documentation. In this regard each hunter had his or her own personal attaché case or book bag which contained a variety of printed material and documents which would support their studies which typically included original SRod tract literature, Rod study charts, news paper clippings, and related content.
It was during this interview that a brief flash was shown of Dudley’s personal attaché and some of the content therein. This immediately got our attention and led to the question as to what else of historical significance was in this bag and how could it help us to better understand the history of life on old Mt. Carmel and the nature of the controversy between the Rod message and church leaders. By the miraculous Divine providence of God we were able to access the contents of this attaché in late 2020 and digitally scanned all the significant content that we did not already have from our prior travels and research. It should be noted that the content of these documents for each hunter would be unique to each individual so the opportunity to review the contents of Dudley’s attaché is particularly significant in light of some of the materials that have never been seen before or are very scare or unavailable elsewhere. Thus it is our great pleasure to make this content available for the first time as an exclusive offering from the ministry of upa7.org.

Florence Houteff and the Era of Reproach: 1955-62.
The legacy of Florence Houteff and its impact on the original Shepherd’s Rod message cannot be understated. This sordid history has been well documented and needs to be understood by those who are going to study and advance the original message today since the consequences of her actions from the death of Brother Houteff are still loudly reverberating. This includes usurping control of original Executive Council and destroying the office of president and installing herself as vice-president, extensively remodeling the original SRod message by publication of the unauthorized New Code sermon addresses and the 11th Hour Radio messages, making a false date setting predication on the timing of Ezekiel 9 and related events, laying the Rod message on the altar on the basis of her false teachings, and attempting to defend the Rod teachings behind closed doors before a hostile group of S.D.A. Church leaders. Below is an extensive list of documents that confirms her role as an enemy agent disguised as a “professed friend of the faith” who was used in an attempt to destroy the original SRod message as predicted in WHR p. 33.

- Symbolic Codes Vol. 14, Nos. 6-9 (early 1959). Florence Houteff and her Executive Council’s call to the Solemn Assembly that took place on April 19, 1959. This is a maze of false doctrine and false hope.
