Ever since the death of Brother Houteff in 1955 followers of the Shepherd’s Rod message have been tossed into disarray regarding the role and function of storehouses, headquarters, and leadership models. Remarkably this situation was entirely predicted by warnings coming from the original SRod message about the rise of usurpers, office seekers, and professed friends of the faith who would attempt to deliver the enemy’s “knock out blow”.
Over the past few years we at upa7.org have received numerous questions on these apparently insurmountable problems and the endless controversies that exist amongst professed followers of the SRod message. To address the paradoxical situation a series of presentations have been put together which defines role of the storehouse(s) in contrast with that of the headquarters of the work. The leadership crisis amongst Davidians has been an acute problem since 1955 ever since the rise of false prophets such as Ben Roden and the take over and corruption of the GADSDA leadership by Florence Houteff and her Council. The situation is further exacerbated by nearly all present day Davidian groups and associations who continue to perpetuate man appointed leadership hierarchies. In order to apply an effectual remedy and recognize God’s leading today, one needs to carefully analyze the history of the rise of some of the significant factions during the scattering period predicted by the prophet Zechariah (Zech. 13:7). And today this numbers well over a dozen factions. The way how to advance the original SRod message through this murky period dominated by lesser cattle muddying the waters of present truth, has been identified in the SOP and amounts to establishing a multitude of decentralized publishing houses to reach the 20+ millions S.D.A’s scattered worldwide.
