It is interesting how people react when you show them something that totally contradicts what they have long thought to be true. Such was the case recently when we posted two images on our Facebook page and a discussion group called “Universal Publishing Association” from the original Shepherd’s Rod message showing the golden bowl vision in Zechariah chapter four. In these original images found in Shepherds Rod, Vol. 2, p. 270, and Tract No. 6, p. 18 it was pointed out that the golden bowl showed only six pipes (tubes) going over the rim of the golden bowl and drawing oil out down to the lamps of the candlestick. The question was asked how do we harmonize this inspired artwork with scripture. A rather vigorous and spirited discussion quickly arose and continues on. One discussion thread alone had over 120 comments with over 300 comments spread around in different locations. This would be considered viral in the small world of Davidia.
So why so much discussion, disagreement, and disunity? The primary reason is the fact that the original artwork published by Brother Houteff has been altered by man over the years since the death of the prophet in 1955. The alterations have been in place so many years that most of us who have come into the message in the last 30 years were not even aware of the changes. So needless to say this revelation that the original artwork in the Rod message has been tampered with came as a shock to many. It seems that those who have been in the message the longest had the biggest problem acknowledging the truth of what has happened and the serious implications on the integrity of the message. Such a state of denial for many left them confounded and unable to harmonize what they have always believed to be true. Perhaps not enough time has lapsed for these brethren to come to the realization that they have been looking at a counterfeit for so many years.
To bring this startling revelation into perspective we can thank God that all of the original Shepherd’s Rod publications including the artwork has been digitally preserved and made available for everyone to inspect and compare with what has been published in the name of the Rod in the years following the passing of our beloved prophet. The results are truly amazing to the level in which the original message has been altered by the hands of man over the years. To help us all understand the significance of this major development we have put together a series of three video presentations posted below that will highlight the extent of the situation and offer a simple way to harmonize the original Rod artwork on the golden bowl with the scriptures. So, if the chart has been tampered with, it would appear that the latest chart that has 7 pipes to go with the 7 lamps, according to the Bible, would be correct. So, if we were to study what the Word says and take it as the truth, then make the SR fit into the Bible, we would have the truth. So, let’s just read what Scripture says and go with that and not worry about this detail that doesn’t mean a thing. Possibly VTH missed it in his printing and it was caught later and fixed. We seem to worry so much about these minor details instead of taking what the Word says, that we are missing the message itself. Please, just start studying the message and see what the Holy Ghost has to tell you/us… That’s my suggestion… 🙂

Please, please, please prayerfully watch all three of the presentations on the golden bowl which prove how man has altered the original SRod chart artwork and the very serious implications for our soul salvation. It is not wise to jump to conclusions without making a thorough investigation of this subject as the soul you save may be your own. May God open your eyes to see what is going on. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide, lead, and direct you unto all Truth and set aside all preconceived ideas and thoughts.

Take a good look at the Chart picture posted from the Tract six, page 18 (in part one). Magnify it and you will see the seven tubes entering the bowl. The missing tube can be found underneath the left pipe. Follow the bowl outline and you can see VTH interrupts this outline with TWO tubes. The number 5 tube apparently curves around and enters from the opposite side.Anyone who ADDS the bowl outline there is not truly following this Inspired Chart as shown from the original. This whole video should either be corrected or taken down and start over. We have no time to spread such mistaken ideas.

The Shepherds Rod is Truth. If you look closely at the Golden Bowl you will see that there are 2 candlesticks that look like they have no pipes from them to the the Golden Bowl. The 3rd and the 5th. And if you examine them closer you will see that there is indeed pipes from the candlesticks to the Golden Bowl, the pipes are in back of the bowl. There are 7 candlesticks and 7 pipes, going from the candlesticks to the Golden Bowl. The Bible, and the Shepherds Rod say there are 7 candlesticks and 7 pipes. Just because some don’t see them when they are there doesn’t mean their not. Brothers and sisters, God wishes for His people to unite. How can we be United when we pick apart God’s message or pick apart each other. Brother Houteff said it well when he said: “It is now clearly seen that God’s Word lives forever. Man may slay the Messengers of God, but they cannot destroy His Word.” 1TG 11:12 -13.
He also said: “We are therefore not to worry about a possibility of anyone’s hurting the work of God.” 1TG 11:13 para. 2.
Nothing anyone does will hurt God’s Word. His Word is just and final.
I’m not saying we are to look the other way when a brother or sister adds to or takes away from The Message. Just that we should be acting Christ like to our brothers and sisters. If we cannot forgive then God will NOT forgive us.

I am sorry sister but we must go by what is revealed plainly in sight for all to see, only 6 of the 7 tubes going up and over the rim of the bowl to draw out the oil. Facts are facts whether they are believed or not. You cannot wish for something to be there when it isn’t. no matter you have believed to be so or heard such things from some minister x or another believer y. That is creating a mirage in your mind rather than surrendering your preconceived ideas that let inspiration speak according to the author original intent. — The Publishers

Here is the inspired artwork from 1 TG 14, p. 18. Please read and reread the text over and over. It does not state that all seven the tubes are drawing oil out of the bowl. The artwork doesn’t show it. Please do not read into the message of the prophet something that is not there just because you want to have it so.
